Portraying oneself may be perceived as a form of self-identification: such portraying encompasses
elements of introspection, self-knowledge and self-assessment. My self-portrait does not show my face
or body. What it shows is my distinguishing penmanship which constitutes an installation expressive of
my psyche. The process of creating this self-portrait has offered me to see myself clearly.
Psychologically speaking, it led me to acknowledge who I am, the purpose of my existence and where I
am headed based on experiences that have affected me. Music written by me joins the installation in
essence.
