Jan Pancocha creates "The Moons" project consisting of 2 rotating light installations inspired by the movement of the moon. the design presents different positions of the moon.


The design  allows to the audience to interact with the installation by watching it from different angles. the project, is inspired by the command code in software language which could be defined by the user’s own world.
 

The project uses LEDs and motors to represent the different positions of the moon. the idea of the moon serves as the central theme as it has been frequently documented throughout the history of human civilization. the moon is always a fascinating place, and tracking back to the space race in the 1960’s, landing on the moon symbolizes the most direct human curiosity and desire of exploration of the universe. the project aims to harness this special quality to create an altogether inviting and interactive light installation.
