The main subjects for me was to be able to create objects quite clearly and legibly that would show the development of the church which has undergone over the last 700 years or so, the main function of Christian Mass, the dilapidation of the church due to World War II, consecration and subsequent modernization of the church from the workshop of the world architect Eva Jiřičná, supplemented by works of art by Adriena Šimotová-So, my task was to move history forward with a new intervention in this space

The church was built  on the site of the older rotunda. This rotunda was razed to the ground and the church of St. Anne - Prague Crossroads - was built on the same site. These architectural elements of the former rotunda appear throughout the installation and I actually use the shapes in the sculptures.

The dominant part of this exhibition is a monumental light object made of circles, which is inspired by the halo, the circle of eternity and the light of the world, but at the same time a mythical object which, according to Christian mythology, was able to turn back time.

For me personally, the circle represents something eternal and at the same time something that can inspire us all. It is an object that is eternal and peaceful. In the Prague crossroads I created through my installation a place that interweaves all important historical moments of this site. In this specific installation, I refer strongly to time.

An important part of it is a pendulum, which symbolizes the relentless passage of time and serves as a warning of the past. It is dysfunctional, as if it stopped in 2020. The fact that it froze, turns the attention of the spectator to the rather dominant light object, the mythological object called the Time Turner.

Through the rotating of the circles we are able to subconsciously travel between different time-spaces. We can go back in time or look into the future.

This installation can be seen as a meeting place, where anything is possible. You can find yourself where you want and believe in what you want, what you need or just feel or experience, and I think that is the main essence of Christian and human existence. We also encounter objects that appear most often in various tribes, but also appear in numerous European groups. The totem is a symbol of the whole and the identity of a group. This way I created totems of our generation that symbolize our presence in this world and this moment in time.
